Siwa provides a platform for reflecting on modes of creation and representation in the contemporary Arab world.

Siwa’s aim is to work between cultures and languages, to reveal artistic experiences and their modes of expression and deployment through presentations focussing on stages of the creative process.
This reflection is driven by exchange and by facilitating the meeting of artists from the "West" on one side and artists from the "Arab world" on the other.
Artistic experiences will thus become the basis for a thinking that is on the move and that engages with ideas that are taken for granted on either side.
