Siwa presents itself primarily as a place of ever-renewed questioning, a place of similarities, margins, dialogue, sharing and subversion, but also a place set in the tension between "outside" and "inside".
In Siwa we try to express and bring to life through various artistic experiences the uniqueness of a place where thought, wandering, trace, effacement and silence are all part of a fundamental life experience.
For it is the questioning (of a language) from one language to another which makes the very absence of a language audible, by questioning the one-to-one encounter with the other, the multiple other, and through art and artistic experiences which can never be fully mastered.
Siwa raises questions, but also leaves all questions open, refusing to accept any answer that is not the object and the opportunity of a new question.
In the exchange of words, artistic presentations and debates that are so many fundamental acts conducive to experience, and which the first two editions of Siwa developed and extended, the spectator will discover a place that gives hope to those like us who, faced with the precariousness of existence and facing doubt as much as error, tentatively advance.
