Residency in two phases: two weeks in May 2010 and two weeks in June 2010.

The aim of this project is to intertwine a process of artistic creation and an experimentation in thinking. The starting point is a text by Philip Malone, a kind of long poem without punctuation, and the artistic work of Najib Cherradi, which uses voice and an electro-acoustic device to reveal the volcanic magma in the bottomless depths of language. The project closely involves eight young Belgians (some of whom are from an immigrant background). Najib Cherradi will lead this project.

In "September(s)" we hear the inner voice of a child who leaves his room, passes through the ruins of his town, climbs a hill and reaches the top during the bombings. Then the descent begins and his metamorphosis into a young man. Without explicit reference to place, this story gradually develops the processes of dehumanisation at work in the child, supposing that in turn, when he returns home, he will become a bomber.
